This comment is actually from my Mom. She is With George, as well: "The World's Fair was in Quebec in 1967. I met your father's family in 1967. I threw your father's suitcase against the airport building and it burst open spreading his underwear, toothbrushes and extra stuff all over the parking lot and I gunned the motor of my small but adorable blue sports car and drove off in a huff. Also, this was before he was your father. Of course, I was not aware this particular episode made 1967 famous - maybe it was politics or awful movies with unhappy endings. I'm just sayin'!"

ReplyDeleteMy Grandmother told me the last time she was in NYC was the year that Prince Andrew married Sarah Ferguson. For the record, that year was 1986.
